We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated backend developer to help build and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. As part of our engineering team, you will work on developing APIs, microservices, databases, and cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products.

Job Requirements

• 1+ years’ experience in the field.

• Understanding of MVC & HMVC design patterns (is a must).

• Proven work experience in (PHP Laravel & MySQL & NodeJS + Python).

•Strong knowledge of PHP Laravel frameworks to get challenged by working on some of the most complex problems.

• Demonstrable experience with PHP including OOP, security, refactoring & design patterns.

• Responsible for writing server-side web application logic.

• Develop back-end components.

• Work closely with the Developer team in completing projects.

• Create scripts to facilitate client systems to meet performance and objectives.

• Connect the application with the other (often third-party) web services.

• Support the front-end developers by integrating their work with the application.

• Develop and integrate plugins for certain popular frameworks.

• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP components and modules.

• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.

• Experience working with PHP, performing unit testing, and managing APIs such as REST.

• Knowledge of database design and querying using SQL.

• Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React.

• Understanding server-side languages such as Node js.

• understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, AJAX, React, HTML5, and SASS or LESS.

• Understanding the CSS Frameworks such as BOOTSTRAP and TAILWIND CSS.

• Understanding accessibility and security compliance.

• Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.

• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.

• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.

• Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git, or similar)

• Ability to write readable code, create extensive documentation for existing code, and refactor the previously written code into readable state.

• Full-time: 10 AM - 6 PM

• Two days off: Saturday - Friday

• Location: Taksim El Lasilky – New Maadi – Cairo

• Medical Coverage after three months
